Loyal admirers of the pop sensation are sparking a significant increase in attendance at a European art institution that displays a painting of Shakespeare's character Ophelia, freshly reimagined in a song and music video from Swift's recent album "The Life of a Showgirl".
The Hessische Landesmuseum in the heartland German city of this location welcomed dozens extra visitors than usual over the weekend, as Swifties hoped to view the actual version of the artwork that starts the music video for "Swift's new song".
In the music video, which has been viewed exceeding 65 million instances on online, the artwork transforms, with the artist at its core.
"We're really enjoying this focus - it's a lot of fun," a museum spokesperson stated.
The official mentioned that one group had traveled from the upper German location of the northern hub, a five-hour drive distant, while a portion of the attendees were international visitors from a local army base.
The representative stated that Swifties learned the historical artwork - thought to originate to the turn of the century - was present when the museum team, noticing the resemblance, posted an invitation on their online platform encouraging any the singer's followers to participate in a special tour.

"The Life of a Showgirl" earned the Britain's largest debut week of this year, after distributing 304,000 copies in the opening one week.
In the US, it earned over 4 countless corresponding album units in the U.S. in its opening week, according to the music chart, beating the milestone set by the British singer with her record "25" in the past.
